Joint Managing Director


Working with Angus, our other Joint Managing Director, I’m responsible for maintaining the highest levels of service for our regional clients, and for helping shape our strong and resourceful company culture. I like to think I’m very practical, and remain calm under pressure. I’m a great believer in being proactive, and in using sound strategic planning to ensure we have the right operational resources to support our clients and teams.

I developed this pragmatic approach to client service over years of experience in hospitality and contract catering, mainly in operational and management roles. I joined BM in 2011, progressing from operational and director-level roles to Joint Managing Director in 2022.  

During my career, I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy a huge range of food experiences. Probably my most pleasurable was a fantastic restaurant in the Mudbrick vineyard, just off the coast of Auckland in New Zealand. As well as fabulous views of the Hauraki Gulf, the wines were amazing, and the food to die for.
