Jessica Firth appointed head of finance at BM Caterers
Jessica Firth has been appointed head of finance at BM Caterers, tasked with supporting the company’s sustainable growth.
Reporting to BM Caterers’ joint managing directors Angus Brydon and Antony Prentice, she will be responsible for setting BM’s financial strategy, managing budgeting and financial planning, overseeing accounting and reporting, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, and overseeing risk management as well as contract and GDPR compliance.
An ACCA-qualified accountant, she spent the last two years as finance manager for BM’s sister company BaxterStorey, working with the team to maintain the profitability of each contract as well as supporting contract renegotiations and tenders.
She replaces Petra Belohoubkova, who has taken on the role of Head of Finance for the Central region at BaxterStorey.
Jessica Firth, head of finance at BM Caterers, said: “I have a real passion for building strong, collaborative teams and I’m looking forward to getting stuck in and working with the BM family to help drive the business forward. I’m all about making numbers meaningful—and making the finance function a genuinely helpful (and human!) part of the company.”
