A passionate advocate for equality, diversity and inclusion within the catering industry.  His work also bought about cultural change, both at his workplace and the wider industry. He was never afraid to standup for his beliefs and has left a lasting legacy.


Foodservice Cateys – Innovation Award

Michaela Mulvey won the Innovation Award at the 2022 Foodservice Cateys.

Harnessing the power of social media network TikTok to tackle one of the most pertinent challenges faced by the industry. The videos showcasing the talent of colleagues have been viewed more than 6 million times and have seen an incredible 900% increase in visits to our recruitment website.

Foodservice Cateys – Regional Manager of the Year

Natasha Boshoff, won Regional Manager of the Year at the 2022 Foodservice Cateys.

Natasha was described as leading from the front, being involved in all aspects of the business and going the extra mile to ensure all the team are fulfilling their potential by setting a positive example.


We won the Employee Health and Wellbeing Award at the 2022 Springboard Awards for the support and communication to all #bmFamily💜💚 members including our run for fun and the use of Yapster to keep in touch.


Our ED&I team won the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Award at the Springboard Awards 2022. BM’s ED&I team has made excellent progress and demonstrated a clear strategy, strong top-down ownership, and company-wide best practice for promoting equality and combating workplace discrimination in the sector.

We have been named Caterer of the Year at the 2019 FSM Awards. We picked up the title after having one of the most successful years in our history, reaching a record £45.6m turnover and maintaining a 98% client retention rate.
