Michelle Jugessur
New Business and Relationship Manager
My role is all about cultivating meaningful relationships with potential clients within business and industry. That means a lot of listening – to understand each client’s needs and then propose a food vision that excites and engages them, while being deliverable. And when we’ve won the business, I stay close to the account to ensure we realise that vision. I also nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, making sure we keep meeting, or exceeding, their needs and expectations.
Before BM, I was in business development in marketing communications, a similarly challenging industry. My first role here was building and growing relationships with prospects and consultants within the City. That soon grew into a full sales role, and I’m now heading up business development for London. I love working with such a wide range of client organisations – and with our own operations team, who work so hard to keep those clients happy.
Working in London, I’m spoilt for choice when eating out. My current favourite is La Mia Mamma in Chelsea, where real Italian mamas cook up a traditional Italian feast as if you were a visitor to their own home. Lamb ragu pappardelle and a glass of Chianti is my perfect pairing.
