Ingredients
- 500g - sirloin steak, cut into strips
- 50g - fresh ginger, minced
- 50g - soy sauce (low salt)
- 38g - fresh garlic, minced
- 50g - sesame seeds
- 50g - sesame oil
- 380g - broccoli florets, cut small
- 250g - green beans, trimmed and cut in half
- 500g - peas
- 500g pickled kale
- 500g - courgettes cut into batons
- 500g - bean sprouts
- 10g - green sliced chilli
- 50g - sesame oil
- 50g - chopped coriander
Full of great flavours and packed full of vegetables, this dish of ginger beef and green veg stir fry is bound to a family favourite
Method
- Add the soy, ginger, and garlic to the beef and allow it marinate for a few hours, at least 2 hours
- Heat a wok or large pan, with a good surface area, until stinking hot and add the beef along with the sesame oil. Cook fast until a good colour is achieved but not cooked all the way through, stir in the sesame seeds and remove the beef from the pan to stop the cooking process.
- Cook the vegetables in the same pan as the beef (in batches if needed) and then mix with the cooked beef, chopped coriander and drizzle with the remaining sesame oil.
