Ginger Beef and Green Veg Stir Fry

Ingredients

500g – sirloin steak, cut into strips

50g – fresh ginger, minced

50g – soy sauce (low salt)

38g – fresh garlic, minced

50g – sesame seeds

50g – sesame oil

380g – broccoli florets, cut small
-
250g – green beans, trimmed and cut in half

500g – peas
-
500g pickled kale
-
500g – courgettes cut into batons
-
500g – bean sprouts
-
10g – green sliced chilli
-
50g – sesame oil
-
50g – chopped coriander
Full of great flavours and packed full of vegetables, this dish of ginger beef and green veg stir fry is bound to a family favourite
Method
- Add the soy, ginger, and garlic to the beef and allow it marinate for a few hours, at least 2 hours
- Heat a wok or large pan, with a good surface area, until stinking hot and add the beef along with the sesame oil. Cook fast until a good colour is achieved but not cooked all the way through, stir in the sesame seeds and remove the beef from the pan to stop the cooking process.
- Cook the vegetables in the same pan as the beef (in batches if needed) and then mix with the cooked beef, chopped coriander and drizzle with the remaining sesame oil.
