Japanese Milk Loaf Bread

Ingredients
- 2kg strong white flour
- 40g salt
- 200g caster sugar
- 240g butter (at room temperature)
- 120g fresh yeast
- 1200g milk
Method
- Mix Ingredients: Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Knead: Knead the mixture for 12 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- Prove: Allow the dough to prove (rise) in a warm place until it has doubled in size.
- Shape: Once proved, shape the dough into loaves or your desired bread shape.
- Bake: Preheat your oven to 200°C. Bake the loaves for 25-30 minutes or until they are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
- Cool: Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
