This recipe is very easy to make and it’s the best way to use up your cake that has begun to dry out. You can follow along with the video here.
- Slice your cake into about 2cm thick
- Put a knob of butter or oil in a frying pan on medium heat and place your cake slices on top
- Once golden brown on each side, remove from the pan and plate as required
- I’ve used cream cheese icing and walnuts as the topping for my cake but you could use ice cream, yoghurt or even fruit. The options are endless!
