• 1kg raspberries
  • 1kg jam sugar
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Jams are so rewarding to make yourself at home, the difference between store bought and homemade is massive and this raspberry jam is just delightful.


  • Mash half your raspberries with the lemon juice in a medium sized heavy bottom pan.
  • Bring up the heat and add the sugar, stir and make sure everything is mixed well.
  • Cook for 5 minutes and then add the rest of the raspberries.
  • Cook until the jam reaches 104c or place a saucer in the fridge and place a spoonful of jam on it and see if it set and wrinkles.
