• Celeriac - 350g
  • Coffee grounds - 250g
  • Fine table salt - 150g
  • Egg white - 1

What do you do with all your leftover coffee grounds? Don’t throw them away. Instead try this gorgeous baked celeriac using coffee grounds and salt.


  • Beat the egg whites until fluffy, add the coffee grounds and salt and form a dough
  • Mould the dough around the celeriac and bake at 180ΒΊC for 1 hour.
  • Remove from the oven and leave to rest in the dough.
  • Once cooled cut and discard the dough and serve the celeriac
