Dorrianne Casey

I enjoy creating positive, collaborative experiences that build confidence, strengthen relationships, and help people do their best work

I began my career managing gastro pubs, spending 10 years building strong operational and people management skills before moving into contract catering – a sector that offered a better balance around my young family. After successfully running a multi-led site, I TUPE’d across to BM, where I’ve been ever since. 

During the pandemic, I leaned into the part of my operations role I loved most – developing people. I achieved a Level 5 Diploma in Coaching and partnered with Murray, our Head of People and Talent, to deliver wellbeing workshops across our teams. This experience sparked my move into Learning & Development, where I now focus on helping our people grow through training, workshops, and coaching.

My role in BM is supporting our people and our clients grow and succeed. I run our training platform and workshops, making learning practical and engaging, and I partner with clients to deliver DiSC profiling and bespoke sessions that bring client services and catering teams closer together.

“I’ve always been passionate about food, and for me it’s inseparable from experiences and memories.”

From being 10 years old and learning how to make (and eat!) sushi at my best friend’s house, to the warm apple crumble our primary school cook served, food has always sparked my curiosity and joy. My nan’s cottage pie with marrow and green beans somehow made me fall in love with vegetables, and later in life I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy lobster on a beach in Mauritius. For me, food is about more than taste – it opens all the senses and, most importantly, brings people together.
