Jessie Firth
Head of Finance
As Head of Finance, I bring a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of the numbers that drive the success of both BM and our clients.
My role is about more than just spreadsheets, it’s about partnering with our teams to ensure financial clarity, efficiency, and sustainability. I aim to make finance accessible and actionable for operational teams, helping them deliver exceptional service to our clients and customers while ensuring we stay on track to meet our goals.
I’ve worked in finance for over six years, most recently joining BM in June 2025 from another company within the same group. Prior to this, I spent the early part of my career in retail, starting at the age of 15, which gave me a strong foundation in customer service, commercial awareness, and team collaboration. My move into finance came naturally from a love of numbers and problem-solving, and I’ve enjoyed combining this with my operational background to add real value behind the scenes.
Food has always been a big part of my life, especially family meals. One of my favourites has to be my mum’s vegetable Wellington on a Sunday, nothing fancy, just good, honest food made with love (and lots of gravy!). It’s the kind of meal that brings everyone together, no matter how busy life gets. That sense of connection through food is something I really value, and it’s part of what makes working in the catering industry so rewarding.
