It’s my job to grow our coffee business and the Perkee brand wherever I can. So building relationships is vital – which is fine with me, as I really enjoy spending time face to face with other people and getting to know them. I also like to bring new ideas to the business in general, and to Perkee in particular. 

Leading up to this role, I made my way around several industries, selling all types of products and looking after all kinds of customers – from small independent businesses to larger national accounts. This variety of experience helped me realise that the coffee industry is what really interests me. 

Being South African, my favourite meal is fresh seafood and, of course, a braai (our name for a barbecue feast). This often includes braai broodjies – toasted sandwiches – which family and friends share. It’s a very sociable way of eating.
