He arrived and took over the role of Head Chef. It was the height of covid and having done this kind of voluntary work for 11 years he had loads of connections in food banks and food surplus so he immediately connected some dots and very quickly they had a full service of food deliveries and between Sunil and 30 volunteers they cooked around
56000 meals in 10 months!
It was an amazing time, with visits from members of BM too. Daryll helped with the Valentines special and the “chimney baker” blessed them with cakes. Between them they got the place food safe and credited by a few organisations too!
